Look around yourself and you see people, more noticeable then the majority of their characteristics is there confidence. It is something that people can just sense in others. So here is the base of confidence. It will always fail you, no one is perfect and we all struggle and falter. No one is exempt. Yes there are things one can do to improve his odds, to stumble and fail less, yet it is still there. False confidence is something else all together, the man who has given in to believe hell never be what he can and doesnt have the courage to show the world.
Here is the clincher, God will never fail, and He is never wrong. Men run to the ends of the earth to build their confidence in themselves when God is just waiting. He waits for us to put our full confidence in the only confidence that will never fail. The plans of God are flawless from tomorrows provisions of food and love, the minor details of life all the way unto eternity in Heaven. So like really is just what the title states, confidence. The only determining factor is where we place ours. Where do you?
Hey Paul,
I think it’s really cool that you’re into the ministry, and doing such awesome introspective writing.
If you ever come back to fffrigid MN, the ski scene REALLY needs your confidence and ability to throw another bash like the MSO’s. When you bailed, you left a void- there are NO ski comps in Dulut’ every year, though there are too many for snowboarders. There’s a brand new Director at Spirit named Rene’ Mattson (female), who was very interested when I told her of the MSO days.
You were huge, and so were the events, as well as being ahead of your time.
I’m a lame 40+ year-old dad, who had the youngest kid participating in those comps. We could use your expertise now, if you ever decide to enter the water again…
People talk about MSO as if it were just a legend.
Good luck in finding what you’re looking for. People are pulling for you.
Your fan,
Todd McK
